Halloween Subway Art

I have seen these floating around blogland, and thought I'd give it a try!
I used each of my cricut cartridges to cut out the letters!

Autumn Frame!

** Scroll down if you are looking for the Wicker Beading Co. Giveaway!

So, I got this frame from Michaels for $2.00. I had a pack of Autumn fabric squares. Using some mod podge I covered the frame and got a lovely little decoration for my mantle.

A little burlap bow tops it off! I love burlap!

Porch Swing..

We have a great swing on our porch, but it was looking a little "blah"... I had a spare 30 minutes while the baby napped, so I whipped this up with some leftover burlap and a stencil I made with my Cricut.

I think it needs more color. I might make covers for the brown pillows... or maybe paint them with some fabric paint. Ya just never know.

What a SURPRISE!!

Today, a co-worker's husband dropped off some goodies to me! They live in a VERY old house and she found this stuff in her basement:
An egg basket with some old glass milk bottles...

A box of mason jars- with blue tints!! OH MY, it must be CHRISTMAS!! And there are all different sizes!!!! I am so excited I almost forgot to tell you that a very important wall came down in our house today. Who cares about walls when you have blue mason jars!

"Big Kid" Towels

I always loved the little hooded towels, but now that Caileigh is one, the little hood part is tight and the towel part is too short. So, I made her this & added her name... I am thinking they will be great for the pool and beach this summer!

Bathroom....

So, I saw this on HERE  and loved it! I wanted something for the wall of the guest bathroom, which is taking on a beachy theme...

I used twine instead of wire, because I wanted it to look a little more rustic. I used Yankee Candle Beach Candles (Dune Sands and Beach Walk) for my candles. Since I had the candles (from a fundraiser),  and a case of glass jars, I had to purchase the hooks ($2/piece at Walmart), and a spool of rope ($4 for a GIANT spool). I had the shells in a container from the beach last sumer. So, this entire project cost me $6.00! (and I still have enough rope to make about a million more)

Caileigh's Candy land

So, we had a beautiful day, filled with family and friends! Caileigh even took a second nap-  the party tuckered her out!

Gumdrop Wreath- I got the idea from this wonderful blog

Candy station with handmade garland

Each table had a Candyland character centerpiece- Here is Lord Licorice,
Mr. Mint!

Gramma Nut!

I took an idea from HowDoesShe.Com and made a display of the pictures I take of Caileigh on the 25th of each month. I attached each picture to a modpodged 2 x 4 and displayed it on the mantle:

Here is the dessert table: I used the pieces from a giant Candyland game I found on Ebay to identify the different flavors of cupcakes:

Food Labels... Gumdrops and toothpicks!

Caileigh's Giant Cupcake!
And lastly, her candy themed outfit!
