{My Parties}... Kristn's Graduation!

My sister recently graduated from high school and we threw a bbq to celebrate. I ordered adorable invites, bottle wraps, banners, and cupcake toppers from The Frog Prince Paperie after seeing some of their amazing work in blog land. Being that it was 90 degrees outside, we had tons of drinks- including my beloved lemonade stand!! (although I have lemonade stand envy- check this out PARTYLOVES LEMONADE STAND)

In addition to the water, we had lemonade, strawberry lemonade & cucumber water. I had blue and yellow paper straws out since those were the school colors. The frames were from Caileigh's Cereal Buffet

I really wanted big bouquets of fresh sunflowers on the tables, but I had to remember the party wasn't for me..So, I painted wooden frames from Michael's red and used a flower embellishment from the scrapbook aisle. I had pictures from throughout Kristin's life all over.

Inspired by Hostess with the Mostess, we had a make-your-own hot dog bar... 

 I wrote out all the different recipes on the brown paper, but I'm pretty sure people invented their own

 My beloved Pottery Barn Stand served as a roll holder...

For the dessert table, I repurposed an old wooden window and my husband's saw horses. I am sorry for the lack of a close up of the cupcakes and toppers!! I don't know what I was thinking! The basket was filled with cakepops!

{My Parties} Hailey's Communion Dessert Buffet!

In honor of Hailey's Holy Communion, we created a dessert buffet for her celebration! Check out the pics below!

{My Parties} Caileigh's 2nd Birthday!

The weather did not cooperate, so we had to move everything inside. I had visions of a perfectly sunny spring day and everything set up under the trees in my yard. However, I am still pleased with how it worked out! The kids all had a dance party inside and had an inside egg hunt. I am so excited to see the professional pictures by Kathleen Hertel Photography. She even had a Photobooth for the kids!

These wonderful cookie toppers for the cupcakes were made  by O'licious Cakes. They were delicious and beautiful. I decorated the cupcakes with green icing to make it look like grass and displayed them on my beloved Pottery Barn stand!

Drinks, anyone?

Loving the mason jars with the paper straws! I found the yellow & white paper straws on Etsy at the ThePartyFairy ... The lids from the mason jars were purchased from an on-line candle making site

For brunch we served cereal, pancakes, bacon and sausage!

Centerpieces: I painted unfinished frames from the craftstore and put in the picture of Caileigh in her yellow & white raincoat. I made the centerpieces after seeing them all over blogland! The gerber daisies were found on clearance at Michaels. 

Favors: I saw a lot of "bunny noses" around and thought they were adorable. I found a case of mini-masons at Michaels on clearance and filled them with pastel skittles. 

Any the birthday girl- flying away!

The favors...Once again, SU stamps & cardstock. The tags are from Staples. Seed paper was ordered from Amazon and cut with a punch from SU! The tag explains how to plant the seed paper.

Using a photo-board from Michael's ($1 with a coupon!), the gift table was decorated with a sign acknowledging the guest of honor...Burlap and brown ribbon were used to embellish the sign cut with a Cricut!
