Giveaway...{Lefty Loops}

Every September, there is a local event called "Montgomery Day". The day kicks off with an 8k run and hosts a ton of vendors- both food and crafts! I stumbled across a fabulous vendor called Lefty Loops . This lovely lady was able to master left-handed crocheting, which immediately made me super jealous because I have battled my left-handedness to learn to crochet for years! Anyway, I got this hat for Caileigh:
I love the colors!

And then I got this one for my niece:
(Not going to lie, I also got this one for Caileigh and one for her little friend!)

Then, I got this for a baby shower gift:
(LOVE this one!)

Expression Vinyl

I have a love affair with my Cricut. When I first got it, I look for any reason to turn it on to whip up some pretty cardstock creations. And they I found Expression Vinyl. The vinyl comes in various forms (iron-on, permanent, removable, and printable!!) and it super easy to use!

Party Shirt!

Using the iron-on vinyl from Expression Vinyl and my Cricut, I made Caileigh this shirt for her second birthday! I got the shirt for $1 at Wal-mart and the vinyl was pretty inexpensive (2.49 per color- and I have a ton left over). Sure beats the super-expensive shirts that I saw on Chasing Fireflies! If I thought she would wear it more than once, I might be tempted to buy the CF shirt, but Easter is only once a year!

This was $38 (yes, thirty-eight!!) on Chasing Fireflies:

My Shirt:

Total Cost:
Shirt- $1.00 (if it's hot out, I plan on cutting the sleeves)
Vinyl- $4.98 total
Ribbon- Free ( I had it in my stash)

GRAND TOTAL: $5.98

{My Parties} Something blue... Brooke's Bridal Shower!

The invites
(The stamps & the cardstock are all Stampin' Up)

The favors...Once again, SU stamps & cardstock. The tags are from Staples. Seed paper was ordered from Amazon and cut with a punch from SU! The tag explains how to plant the seed paper.

Using a photo-board from Michael's ($1 with a coupon!), the gift table was decorated with a sign acknowledging the guest of honor...Burlap and brown ribbon were used to embellish the sign cut with a Cricut!

Allllllll Aboard!

Caitlin is about ready to have their first son, Jacob...and that means SHOWER TIME!  Since the nursery is train-themed, it decided was to go with that for the shower theme too...
Invites were all made with Stampin' Up Cardstock and some manilla tags from Staples.

For the favors, we did mason jars filled with sugar cookie mix.We topped it off with a train cookie cutter...

Found this adorable shelf on Amazon.com. We asked all of the guests to bring their favorite children's book and we piled them onto the shelf.

I made Caitlin a fleece blanket, with trains- of course!!
